Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information fyibest.com (the “Site”) collects, why, and what happens to it. It applies to everything offered at fyibest.com and any related pages or features, including ones added after this policy was written. By using the Site you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect:

Please do not submit information you consider confidential, sensitive, or that belongs to someone else. See the Terms of Use.

2. How we use it

We use the information above to:

Where the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on your consent (for the recordings and content you choose to submit) and on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, measuring and improving the Site, which includes analytics. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out. You can object to our use of analytics at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the following categories of recipients, and only as needed for the purposes above:

The specific providers we use may change at any time as the Site changes. The categories above are intended to describe them, and this policy is not updated each time a provider is added, replaced or removed.

Our providers may be located in, or process information in, countries other than yours, including the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

4. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for it to work, and analytics cookies that are set when you arrive. Where analytics is enabled we use Google Analytics, provided by Google, which sets cookies and collects usage information to help us understand how the Site is used. We configure it to anonymise IP addresses, and we do not enable advertising, cross-device or personalisation features.

Analytics is on by default. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an instruction to opt you out and no analytics cookies are set at all.

To turn analytics off, use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer and choose Decline: that stops further collection and clears the analytics cookies already set. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or clear your browser data. Google provides an opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

5. How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, and we may retain records indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them. Backups, logs and copies held by our providers may persist for a period after deletion. Information stored in your own browser stays on your device until you clear it.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You submit information at your own risk.

7. Your choices and rights

You can choose not to use the Site, turn analytics off, and clear the information stored in your browser at any time. Subject to applicable law, you may also ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal information, or to receive a copy of it. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
